Year of Version 1985 Dates Entry into force: July 1, 1986 Adopted: December 20, 1985 Type of Text IP-related Laws Subject Matter Competition, Enforcement of IP and Related Laws, IP Regulatory Body Notes The notification by Switzerland to the WTO under Article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'The law contains provisions on civil and administrative procedures and remedies against acts of unfair competition (Chapters 2 and 3). Articles 12 and 23 provide protection for trade secrets. Article 44(3) stipulates that acts of which the effects on competition do not derive exclusively from the legislation on the protection of industrial property and copyright fall within the scope of the Law on Cartels.'
