Year of Version 1995 Dates Entry into force: December 6, 1995 Issued: November 29, 1995 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations Subject Matter Trademarks Notes This Decision is issued pursuant to Article 10 of Decree-Law No. 56/95/M of November 6, 1995, governing the Protection of Trademarks, and entered into force on the same date as the said Decree-Law, which is on December 6, 1995.

The notification by Macao to the WTO under article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
“This Decision establishes the classification of goods and services for purposes of registration of marks.”
The List of Goods and Services set out in Annex I is the sixth edition of the Nice Classification, which was adopted under the Nice Agreement and published in 1992.
