Decree of the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Handicraft (of September 25, 1972)

    1. Applications for patents for industrial inventions, utility models, industrial designs and trademarks as well as applications for the transcription of instruments concerning patent applications or patents, representations and documents relating to priorities, and appeals, must be filed with the Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Handicraft and Agriculture of the capital towns of the Provinces until December 31, 1972.
    2. Until the same date, the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Handicraft and Agriculture of Rome is empowered to receive also applications and documents referred to in the foregoing subsection which under Section 1 of Presidential Decree No. 540 of June 30, 1972, may be filed with the Central Patent Office.
  1. As from January 1, 1973, patent applications and the instruments referred to in the first subsection of the foregoing section must be filed with the Provincial Offices of Industry, Commerce and Handicraft of the capital towns of the Provinces.

As from the same date, the Provincial Office of Industry, Commerce and Handicraft of Rome is empowered to receive also applications and documents referred to in the second subsection of the foregoing Section.

The Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Handicraft and Agriculture shall take steps to transfer in good time the necessary staff and equipment to the Provincial Offices of Industry, Commerce and Handicraft.

Décret du Ministre de l’industrie, du commerce et de l’artisanat (du 25 septembre 1972)

1. Les demandes de brevets pour des inventions industrielles, des modèles d’utilité, des dessins ou modèles ornementaux et des marques d’entreprises, ainsi que les demandes de transcription d’actes concernant les demandes de brevet ou les brevets, les instances et les documents relatifs aux priorités ainsi que les recours doivent être déposés jusqu’au 31 décembre 1972 auprès des chambres de commerce, d’industrie, d’artisanat et d’agriculture des chefs-lieux de province.

Jusqu’à la même date, la Chambre de commerce, d’industrie, d’artisanat et d’agriculture de Rome est habilitée à recevoir aussi le dépôt des demandes et documents visés à l’alinéa précédent qui, aux termes de l’article premier du décret présidentiel du 30 juin 1972, n° 540, peuvent être déposés auprès de l’Office central des brevets.

2. A partir du 1er janvier 1973, les demandes de brevets et les actes indiqués au premier alinéa de l’article précédent doivent être déposés auprès des offices provinciaux de l’industrie, du commerce et de l’artisanat des chefs-lieux de province.

A partir de la même date, l’Office provincial de Rome est habilité à recevoir aussi le dépôt des demandes et des documents visés au deuxième alinéa de l’article précédent.

Les chambres de commerce, d’industrie, d’artisanat et d’agriculture s’occuperont de transférer en temps utile aux offices provinciaux de l’industrie, du commerce et de l’artisanat le personnel et le matériel nécessaires.
