Notes:	WTO Notification states: "These Rules, made under the Patents Act 1992, come into operation on 1 August 1992 which is the date the Prime Minister has appointed for the commencement of the Act. The Rules prescribe the forms to be used, the fees payable and the procedures to be observed in connection with patents granted under the provisions of the Act. They also contain certain provisions relating to European patent applications and European patents designating the State and to international patent applications filed at the Patents Office".
