Year of Version 2013 Dates Entry into force: September 16, 2004 Adopted: September 6, 2004 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations Subject Matter Copyright and Related Rights (Neighboring Rights), IP Regulatory Body Notes The Rules on Drafting, Filing and Examination of Applications for the Registration of Computer Programs and Databases were approved by Order No. 45 August 18, 2004 of the Director of the 'State Patent Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan' (later renamed 'Agency on Intellectual Property of the Republic of Uzbekistan'), which was registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan on September 6, 2004 under No. 1402, and entered into force on September 16, 2004, ten days after the date of its registration.

This consolidated version of the Rules on Drafting, Filing and Examination of Applications for the Registration of Computer Programs and Databases incorporates all the amendments introduced by the following Orders:
- Order No. 37 of August 26, 2011 of the Director General of the Agency on Intellectual Property of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on Amendments and Additions to the Rules on Drafting, Filing and Examination of Applications for the Registration of Computer Programs and Databases, which was registered by the Ministry of Justice on September 30, 2011 under No. 1402-1, and entered into force on October 10, 2011;
- Order No. 68 of April 15, 2013 of the Director General of the Agency on Intellectual Property of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on Amendments and Additions to the Rules on Drafting, Filing and Examination of Applications for the Registration of Computer Programs and Databases, which was registered by the Ministry of Justice on May 7, 2013 under No. 1402-2, and entered into force on May 13, 2013.
