Year of Version 2018 Dates Entry into force: May 9, 2004 Adopted: March 15, 2004 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations Subject Matter Patents (Inventions), Utility Models, IP Regulatory Body Notes The Rules on Drafting, Filing and Examination of Applications for the Grant of Patents for Utility Models were approved by Order No. 14 of March 15, 2004, of the Director of the State Patent Office, which was registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan on April 29, 2004 under No. 1343, and entered into force on May 9, 2004, ten days after the date of its registration.

This consolidated version of the Rules on Drafting, Filing and Examination of Applications for the Grant of Patents for Utility Models incorporates all the amendments introduced by the following Orders:
- Order No. 35 of March 11, 2009 of the Director of the State Patent Office, which was registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan on March 25, 2009 under No. 1343-1, and entered into force on April 4, 2009.
- Order No. 29 of August 26, 2011 of the Director General of the Agency on Intellectual Property of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which was registered by the Ministry of Justice on September 30, 2011 under No. 1343-2, and entered into force on October 10, 2011.
- Order No. 27 of December 20, 2017 of the Director General of the Agency on Intellectual Property of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which was registered by the Ministry of Justice on January 25, 2018 under No. 1343-3, and entered into force on March 15, 2018.
