Year of Version 2016 Dates Entry into force: June 25, 2013 Adopted: June 21, 2013 Type of Text IP-related Laws Subject Matter Copyright and Related Rights (Neighboring Rights), Other Notes This consolidated version of the Organic Law on Communication incorporates all the amendments up to Fourth Amendment Law No. 1, published in the Official Registry Supplement No. 913 of December 30, 2016.
For the amendments introduced by the said Amendment Law, see Title V, Section VI, Article 97, paragraph 1, and Article 102, paragraph 3 of the consolidated version.

Clauses c and k of paragraph 3 of Article 10 under Chapter I, Title II of this consolidated version of the Organic Law of Communication provide that natural persons and legal persons involved during the media process must abstain from getting illegal information or images; and respect copyright laws and citation rules.
