'The Resolution establishes and approves the fees, expressed in terms of Ecuador's minimum living wage, charged by the Ecuadorian Intellectual Property Institute (IEPI) for the documents and services listed in the Annex thereto. The final amount of the fees charged for an examination prior to the granting or registration of intellectual property rights, where this procedure is applicable in accordance with current legal regulations, is established by the responsible national director, taking into consideration the particularities of each case and the statutory minimum and maximum levels.'
