This consolidated version of Law No. 33 of 1952 on Trademarks takes into account amendments up to Law No. 15 of 2008, which entered into force on April 16, 2008.
The said amending Law No. 15 of 2008 provides amendments to the following provisions of this consolidated version:
- Adding a new second paragraph to the definition of 'well-known trademarks' under Article 2 (Explanation of terms);
- Replacing paragraphs 2 & 3 of Article 25 (Rights of the owner of a trademark) by a new paragraph 2;
- Amending paragraph 1 of Article 37 (Offenses) by replacing the wordings 'three thousand dinars' by the new wordings 'six thousand dinars'.
