This consolidated version of the Law on Commerce takes into account amendments up to Decree-Law No. 51 of 2018 (also called 'Legislative Decree No. 51 of 2018), which entered into force on November 30, 2018.
The said amending Decree-Law No. 51 of 2018 provides the following amendments to this consolidated version of the Law on Commerce:
- Replacing the words 'Ministry of Commerce and Agriculture' with 'Competent Ministry for commerce affairs';
- Amending paragraph 1 of Article 20.
The English version is intended for reference purposes only. In case of discrepancy, the Arabic version shall prevail.
