Notes
This consolidated version of Law on Commercial Companies promugated by Decree-Law No. 21 of 2001 takes into account amendments up to Decree-Law No. 53 of 2018 (also called 'Legislative Decree No. 53 of 2018'), which was issued by the King on November 28, 2018, and entered into force on November 30, 2018, one day after its publication in the Official Gazette.
The said Decree-Law No. 53 of 2018 introduces amendments to the following provisions of this consolidated version of the Law on Commercial Companies:
- Articles 115, 244 bis, 286 (para. c), 291 (amended);
- Articles 351 bis, 351 bis 1, and 362 bis (new articles added).
NB: The amendments introduced by Law No. 6 of 2020 to paragraph A of Article 284 of this consolidated version of the Law on Commmercial Companies has not yet included therein.
The English version is intended for reference purposes only. In case of discrepancy, the Arabic version shall prevail.
