This consolidated version of the Labour Code incorporates amendments up to 'Law No. 262-VI of July 3, 2019, on Amendments to Certain Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Regulation and Development of Financial Market, Microfinance Activity and Taxation', which entered into force on different dates.
Paragraph 8 under Article 1 of the said amending Law No. 262-VI of July 3, 2019, which entered into force on January 1, 2020 added Article 145-1 to Chapter 12 under Section 2, Special Part of this consolidated version of the Labor Code, relating to the regulation of labor of employees of the authorized body for control and supervision of financial market and financial organizations.
The consolidated Code contains provisions relating to the confidentiality obligations of private and State employees in regard to disclosure of commercial secrets in the course of their employment (see General Part, Section 1, Chapter 3, Article 22, item 2), subitem 6); and Special Part, Section 3, Chapter 14, Article 156, item 9; and Section 5, Chapter 21, Articles 194, item 8).
