Year of Version 2019 Dates Entry into force: March 2, 2012 Adopted: January 18, 2012 Type of Text IP-related Laws Subject Matter Copyright and Related Rights (Neighboring Rights) Notes This consolidated version of Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 545-IV of January 18, 2012, on TV and Radio Broadcasting takes into account amendments up to 'Law No. 215-VI of January 8, 2019, on Amendments to Certain Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Advertising', which entered into force on April 10, 2019, three months after its official publication in the Official Gazette 'Egemen Kazakhstan' (January 10, 2019).

Paragraph 13 under Article 1 of the said amending Law No. 215-VI of January 8, 2019 introduced amendments to the following provisions of this consolidated version:
- Chapter 2, Article 1, item 2, subitem 1) (amended);
- Chapter 4, Article 34, item 2, subitems 1), 2) & 3).

This consolidated Law provides protection of copyright and related rights in legal relations connected with television and radio broadcasting (see Chapter 4, Article 34, item 4; and Chapter 5, Article 38).'
