This consolidated version of the General Part of the Civil Code takes into account amendments up to Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 262-VI of July 3, 2019, which entered into force on different dates.
Paragraph 2 under Article 1 of the said amending Law No. 262-VI of July 3, 2019, which entered into force on January 1, 2020 introduced amendments to the following provisions of Section 4 of this consolidated General Part of the Code:
- Chapter 36, section 715, item 2-1 (added); section 718, item 2 (amended and added); section 725-1, item 1, 5) and item 3 (amended); section 728, items 2), 5), 6) (amended) and 8) (added);
- Chapter 38, section 760, item 1-2; section 765, items 2-1, 3, 6 (amended); section 766;
- Chapter 40, section 830, item 3, item 5, 5).
The consolidated Special Part of the Code provides regulation of civil and legal relations in the field of intellectual property rights, which are referred to in the following provisions:
- Section 4, Chapter 25, Article 493(3); Chapter 29, Article 573(1); Chapter 32, Articles 638, 676 & 679(1)(2); Chapter 38, Article 742(2)(2); Chapter 45, Articles 896-909; Chapter 46, Article 916(4); Chapter 47, Article 938(2);
- Section 5, Chapters 49-56, Articles 961-1037; and
- Section 7, Chapter 62, Article 1120.
