Technical amendment: reference to the Courts Act (2016/673) was changed.

Act amending the Registered Designs Act, adopted on 31 January 2013, 2013/109, entry into force on 1 September 2013

The following provisions were amended:
- section 21.1 concerning the appeal against a final decision of the registering authority
- section 22 concerning appeals which shall be lodged with the Market Court
- section 33a relating to definition of community design
- subsections 2 and 4 of section 35a concerning cessation orders

- section 43 regulates the centralization of contentious and non-contentious civil matters to the Market Court whereas section 44 regulates on the duty to inform the Patent and Registration Office about the given decisions

Subsection 2 of section 31 b as well as sections 39.2, 41.3 and 42 were repealed. New sections 43a–43c concerning i.e. the competent court in criminal matters were inserted.

Amendments concerning the adoption of a new Coercive Measures Act (806/2011).
Act amending the Registered Designs Act, adopted on 3 December 2010, 2010/1058, entry into force on 1 May 2011

Section 23 was repealed. Amendments relating to application for registration and application procedure were made to the following sections:
10 (subsections 2 and 3), 12, 15, 18, 18a (subsection 1), 19, 20, 21 (subsection 1), 31a (subsection 1), 45, 47 (subsection 1) and 48.
New sections 8a–8c, 22a and 23a–23c were inserted. Also a new chapter 8 a on the international registration was added.

Act amending Section 44 of the Registered Designs Act, adopted on 14 May 2010, 2010/394, entry into force 1 January 2010

Addition of a new Section 44.2 to the Registered Designs Act concerning a court’s obligation to notify its judgements to the national information system of the judicial administration.
