This consolidated version of the Performers' and Broadcasters' Rights Law takes into account amendments up to the Public Broadcasting Law (Amendment No. 2) 2015 ('the Amendment Law'), which came into force on September 3, 2015, published in the Official Gazette on September 10, 2015, and shall come into force on March 31, 2016.
Pursuant to the Amendment Law, the Public Broadcasting Corporation, which replaced the Broadcasting Authority provided for in sections 100 and 132 of the Public Broadcasting Law, will be replaced again by the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation starting operation on March 31, 2016 (see section 2 of the Amendment Law).
