Year of Version 2005 Dates Entry into force: June 21, 2005 Adopted: June 13, 1963 Type of Text IP-related Laws Subject Matter Other Notes This consolidated version of the Customs Law incorporates all amendments from 1976 to 2005 (Law No. 95/2005).
Article 19 of the Customs Law states, inter alia, that the origin of goods should be the country of their production whether they are agricultural or natural crops or industrial products.
Article 50 provides that after the registration of statement, the customs shall inspect the goods and control if their type, value and origin correspond to the certificate and relevant documents.
Article 57 specifies that in case a litigation arises between customs department and the concerned party on the type, origin or value of the goods, the dispute shall be referred to an arbitration.
