WIPO-ASEAN Mediation Programme (AMP+)

As part of the collaboration between WIPO and ASEAN under the WIPO-ASEAN Memorandum of Understanding, ASEAN parties can benefit from the WIPO-ASEAN Mediation Programme (AMP+).  AMP+ is designed to make access to mediation more affordable and readily available across the ASEAN region. It supports parties engaged in intellectual property (IP) or technology-related matters by subsidizing the costs of mediation administered by the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center (WIPO Center).

In doing so, AMP+ aims to help innovators, businesses and creators—from start-ups and SMEs to larger enterprises—resolve disputes or negotiate deals in a time-efficient, confidential and commercially-sensible manner. The funding also encourages greater use of mediation in cross-border transactions, where parties may otherwise face procedural complexity or resource constraints.
