Surveys, Key Issues, Gap Analyses and Consultations

Surveys

The IGC decided to launch an online survey on information systems, registers and databases of genetic resources, traditional knowledge and traditional cultural expressions.  Member States and accredited observers are invited to respond to the survey PDF, IGC survey by May 12, 2023, if they so wish.  The results will be published later.

Issues and studies

The IGC has identified and discussed 10 key issues on the protection of traditional cultural expressions / folklore and traditional knowledge. On the same subject, it later commissioned two gap analyses resulting in two working documents.

Consultations

The IGC occasionally decides to hold consultations with its members and observers.
