WIPO, in cooperation with the National Intellectual Property Center of Georgia (Sakpatenti), is hosting a national webinar on the PCT System for applicants in Georgia.
This free online event introduces the PCT System, its advantages and key procedural steps, and explores how the PCT can support innovators and IP professionals in Georgia with their international patent strategies.

What to Expect
Alongside an introduction to the PCT and how it works, this webinar offers guidance from WIPO specialists on how to use ePCT for electronic filing and management of PCT applications, and provides practical advice on preparing sequence listings in line with WIPO Standard ST.26.
The webinar includes a presentation by Sakpatenti representatives on their office’s operations as a Receiving Office and a Designated or Elected Office under the PCT System, helping to strengthen participants’ understanding of national procedures in Georgia and what to expect when filing.
The program also includes a dedicated Q&A session, offering attendees the chance to engage directly with PCT experts and Sakpatenti representatives.
