ARTICLE 1: STRUCTURE COMPETENCES

 

A. Fiscal Data Bank

 

Fiscal Data Bank (art. 57 L. 2214/1994), art. 1 par. 6 L. 2343/1995 and PD 37/1997), operates as an Administration and its purpose is to collect, register and sort in electronic files any kind of information and statistics that are necessary for planning, observance, evaluation and exercising of the fiscal policy in general and for supporting the tax, customs and fiscal control.

 

In particular, the Fiscal Data Bank:

 

1. Collects, sorts and keeps in electronic files, in a way that can be processed, information and data that are relevant with:

b. Transactions on exports, imports, intra-community acquisitions or supplies, trades moving into the country or provided services and rights (trade mark rights, copyrights, intercession rights, commission rights, license rights and other trade rights (ROYALTIES)).

 

Purpose

 

With this decree, the standing Hellenic legislation is harmonized with the provisions of Directive 98/84/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of November 20, 1998 for the legal protection of the services based on or consisting of the conditional granting of access (subscriber services), as regards the measures taken against illegal devices providing non-permitted access to subscriber services.
