Fifth Order Amending the Order Concerning Patent Applications

of 1 January 2002

By virtue of Section 35(4) Patent Law in the version published on 16 December 1980 (Bundesgesetzblatt (8GBI.) 1981 I, p. 1) in conjunctjo~ with Section 20 of the Order Concerning the German Patent Office of 5 September 1968 (BGBI. I, p. 997), revised by Article 24, item 2, .of the Law of 13 December 2001 (BGBI. I, p. 3656), the German Patent and Trade Mark Office issues the following order:

Article 1

In Section 5a(4) of the Order Concerning Pat~nt Applications of 29 May 1981 (8GBI. I, p. 521), last amended by Article 20 of the Law of 16 July 1998 (8GBI. I, S. 1827) the words "Patent Office" shall be replaced by the words "Patent and Trade Mark Office".

Article 2

This 'Order shall enter into force on the day following its promulgation.
