AN ACT TO AMEND THE PATENTS ACT, 1964 . [15th March, 1966.]

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS:

 

Amendment of Second Schedule to Patents Act, 1964.

1.The Second Schedule (which contains transitional provisions) to the Patents Act, 1964 , is hereby amended by the insertion after paragraph 4 of the following paragraph:

“4A. Where, in relation to a patent, a complete specification has been accepted before the commencement of this Act, the proviso to subsection (1) of section 55 of the Act of 1927 shall continue to apply in relation to an action for the infringement of the patent notwithstanding the repeal thereof by this Act.”

 

Short title and collective citation.

2.(1) This Act may be cited as the Patents (Amendment) Act, 1966.

 

 

(2) The Patents Act, 1964 , and this Act may be cited together as the Patents Acts, 1964 and 1966.
