TITLES AND INFORMATION AND OTHER PROVISIONS.

ARTICLE 22: SCHOOL TEXTBOOKS AND LIBRARIES

The reproduction of lawfully published literary works of one or more writers in educational textbooks approved for use in the primary and secondary education by the Ministry of National Education and Religion Affairs or another competent ministry, according to the official detailed syllabus, shall be permissible without the consent of the authors and without payment. The reproduction shall incorporate only a small part of the total output of each of the writers, as well as abstracts of visual arts works or other imaging or photographic work of any kind, provided that there is a necessary relation with the contents of the educational textbook. The provisions of this paragraph shall be applicable on any kind of educational material, such as webbased applications, educational software, films, CDROM, DVD and on any other medium of electronic or digital or other recording that is approved for use as educational means by the Ministry of National Education and Religion Affairs and is distributed for free, within the framework of the official detailed syllabus. Further, the reproduction of music abstracts and film or audio or audiovisual material of limited extend is permissible in these means under the aforementioned prerequisites, with the additional mentioning of the producers name, beyond the other elements of paragraph 3.
