Year of Version 2010 Dates Adopted: May 31, 2010 Type of Text IP-related Laws Subject Matter Undisclosed Information (Trade Secrets), Copyright and Related Rights (Neighboring Rights), Enforcement of IP and Related Laws, Genetic Resources, IP Regulatory Body, Other Notes This Law amends the law relating to access to information and provides for related matters.

In particular refer to the amendments of the following Acts regarding the IPRs protection :
- Schedule 2 'Publication of information' with the amendments to the Freedom of Information Act 1982 relating to undisclosed information (see Division 2, Section 8 (2)(g) (ii), page 14)
- Schedule 3 'Exemptions', Part 2 'Main exemption amendments' to the Freedom of Information Act 1982 relating to documents disclosing trade secrets or commercially valuable information (see Division 2, Section 47, page 41; Division 3, Section 47G, page 45).
- Schedule 3 'Exemptions', Part 1 'Open access period amendments', 'Archives Act 1983' (see page 20)
- Schedule 5 'Amendments consequential on the establishment of the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner' for the following Acts: Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (see page 135); Fisheries Management Act 1991 (see page 136); Telecommunications Act 1997 (see page 138); Torres Strait Fisheries Act 1984 (see page 140)
- Schedule 6 'Other amendments', Part 3 'Amendment of other Acts'; Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (see page 157).
