This statute, promulgated by Executive Decree No 2428, establishes the general structure, function, common administrative procedure and rules on liability of the organs and entities of the Institutional and Central Public Administration dependent of the Executive Function.

The Article 344 of the Intellectual Property Law (Consolidation No. 2006-013) establishes: 'Notwithstanding the provisions of this Act relating to administrative procedures shall apply the Statute of Legal and Administrative Executive Function.'
