Notes:	The Constitution of Algeria was adopted on September 8, 1963 and has been amended several times, most recently in November 2008. The Constitution contains provisions concerning intellectual property rights. Article 38 protects the freedom of intellectual, artistic and scientific innovation and copyrights. Furthermore, Article 52 of the Constitution also recognizes and guarantees the right to private property.
