Notes:	The Constitution of Fiji was adopted in 1997 and amended by the Constitution (Amendment) Act 1997 and the Constitution (Amendment) Act 1998. This consolidated text comprises the Constitution 1997 as amended by the Constitution (Amendment) Act 1997. Fiji suspended the 1997 Constitution in 2006 and would have a new Constitution -its fourth-by 2013.
