STATE FEES FOR LEGAL PROTECTION OF INDUSTRIAL DESIGNS Excerpt from Regulations No. 472 of the Cabinet of Ministers, June 28, 2005

Fee Description Amount of Fee (LVL)

Filing of a design application 30 When filing a multiple application - for each design in excess of one: second to tenth design 20 eleventh and subsequent designs 15 Amendments to the application made on applicant’s initiative 15 Registration and publication of a design 45 Publication of each reproduction in excess of one 15 Postponement of publication under Article 22, Paragraph 1 of the Regulations on Industrial Designs 25

Renewal of a design registration under Article 34, Paragraph 2 of the Regulations on Industrial Designs: for a second period 120 for a third period 160 for a fourth period 200 for a fifth period 240 additional fee for renewal of a design registration within a period of six months after the expiration of the registration 45

Actions with respect to the terms mentioned in Article 35 of the Regulations on Industrial Designs: extension 20 renewal 30 Filing of an appeal 120 Filing of an opposition to the registration of a design 120 Registration of a transfer of design rights or of a license contract 30 Amendments and corrections in the State Register of Industrial Designs (including cancellation of a design registration on the initiative of the owner (surrender of the registration) under Article 38 Paragraph 1 of the Regulations on Industrial Designs)

Issuance of a duplicate of the registration certificate 30 Designers - individual authors, who are applicants of the design, have to pay 40% of the respective fees. Designers - pupils, students and pensioners, who are applicants of the design, have to pay 20% of the respective fees.
