Year of Version 2016 Dates Entry into force: January 1, 2006 Adopted: April 20, 2005 Type of Text IP-related Laws Subject Matter Enforcement of IP and Related Laws, Other Notes This consolidated text of the Code of Civil Procedure incorporates all the amendments up to 'Act on Amendments to Judiciary Act and Associated Acts Amendment Act' (Act RT I, 22.06.2016, 21; hereinafter 'Amendment Act').

The Amendment Act was passed on June 7, 2016, published in Part I of Riigi Teataja (abbreviated to RT I, i.e. the State Gazette) on June 22, 2016, and came into force on August 1, 2016.
For the amendments introduced by Section 6 of the Amendment Act, see Part 11, Chapter 49, Division 2, Section 491, paragraph 2 of the consolidated text.

The consolidated Code of Civil Procedure contains provisions, relating to copyrights and industrial property rights:
- Part 3, Chapter 18, Division 2, Section 150(1), 5); relating to the refund of state fees in relation to appeal against a decision of the IP Committee with a county court;
- Part 5, Chapter 26, Section 244(1), (2); Section 247(2),(3); and Section 248(4), relating to per-trial taking of evidence in order to safeguard evidence if a person substantiates that the copyright and related rights, or industrial property rights thereof have been infringed; Chapter 29, Section 280, relating to submission of documentary evidence in court, and obligation to provide in court information related to intellectual property;
- Part 10, Chapter 40, Section 378(2), relating to measures for securing actions to prevent any impending infringement of intellectual property rights;
Chapter 47, Section 445(5), relating to the determination of procedure for and term of compliance with judgment given in cases concerning the infringement of IP rights;
- Part 11, Chapter 48, Section 475(15^1), relating to petitions and appeals against decisions of the IP Committee.
