'[The Law] regulates property and non-property relations that arise in connection with creation, legal protection and use of layout design of integrated microcircuits.'

This consolidated version of the Law incorporates amendments up to Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 382-V of October 31, 2015, which entered into force on November 24, 2015 (see Article 9 of the consolidated version for the amendments).
