This consolidated version of the Financial Investment Services and Capital Markets Act incorporates all the amendments up to Act No. 12383, which was adopted on January 28, 2014, and came into force on the same date (see Addenda for a listing of the Amendment Acts and dates of entry into force thereof).
Article 7 of the consolidated version of the Act states that a business shall not be deemed a trust business, in cases where it is a trust business for secured debentures under the Secured Debentures Trust Act, or a copyright trust management business under the Copyright Act, as referred to in paragraph 4(5).
Article 103(1)(7) provides that no trust business entity shall accept for trust any property other than intangible property rights including intellectual property rights, among others.
