Year of Version 2015 Dates Entry into force: January 1, 2008 Adopted: December 14, 2007 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations Subject Matter Patents (Inventions), Plant Variety Protection, Genetic Resources, IP Regulatory Body Notes The notification by Norway to the WTO under article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'[The Regulations make] more detailed provisions on patent applications, processing, supplementary protection certificates, etc.'

This consolidated version of the Regulations takes into account amendments up to Regulations No. 1409 of November 14, 2014, which entered into force on January 1, 2015 (see Sections 4, 5, 27a, 33a, 38, 42, 43, 45 to 47, 59, 62, 63, 72, 75, 80, 82, 84, 100 and 105 of the consolidated version for detailed amendments made by the said Regulation No. 1409).
