Notes
Article 157 of the 1992 Constitution established the Rules of Court Committee. The Rules of Court Committee makes rules for regulating the procedures of all courts in Ghana. In 1997, the Committee made C.I 19 to regulate the procedures for civil and criminal appeals in the Court of Appeal. The Rules also apply to appeals of IP matters from the High Court to the Court of Appeal. The Rules have been amended up to May 31, 1999. But this version of the Rules does not incorporate those amendments. Accordingly, this version of the Rules must be read together with the Court of Appeal (Amendment) Rules, 1998 (C.I 21), and the Court of Appeal (Amendment) Rules, 1999 (C.1 25).
