Year of Version 2002 Dates Adopted: September 10, 2002 Type of Text IP-related Laws Subject Matter Other Notes This Decree-Law abolishes the state monopoly on telegraphy and telephony and radio and television broadcasting. It also provides that the High Authority of Audiovisual Communication (HACA) established in 2002 is empowered to grant licenses for the establishment and operation of companies of audiovisual communication services for a term inferior to five years.
