Year of Version 2012 Dates Entry into force: January 31, 1997 Enacted: June 17, 1996 Type of Text IP-related Laws Subject Matter Patents (Inventions), Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Other Notes This consolidated version of the Arbitration Act 1996 takes into account amendments up to the Northern Ireland Act 1998 (Devolution of Policing and Justice Functions) Order 2010, which entered into force on April 12, 2010 (see section 105, paragraph (6) under Part IV of this consolidated version for the detailed amendments). This consolidated Act was updated up to August 7, 2013, with the addition of a list entitled "Changes to legislation" which have not yet been incorporated thereto, relating to the amendments to the Arbitration Act 1996 (see page 76 the said consolidated Act).
