Article 2 of this Order brings into force, on September 22, 2004, paragraph 24 and paragraph 26(1), (3) and (4) of Schedule 2 to the Patents Act 2004 (c. 16), which amends sections 120 & 123 of the Patents Act 1977 (c. 37).
Articles 4 and 5 make consequential amendments to the Patents Rules 1995.
Articles 6 to 8 make transitional provisions to the Patents Act 1977.
(2A) The comptroller may set out in directions any forms the use of which is required by rules; and any such directions shall be published in the prescribed manner.
