Year of Version 2007 Dates Entry into force: September 20, 2007 Adopted: September 19, 2007 Type of Text Main IP Laws   Subject Matter Trademarks Subject Matter (secondary) Enforcement of IP and Related Laws, IP Regulatory Body Notes This Law amends the law on trademarks and introduces provisions concerning the protection of well-known trademarks in Uzbekistan.
Article 32(1) defines the 'well-known trademark'.
Article 32(2) stipulates that the well-known trade mark status is conferred by the Appeal Council of the Patent Office.
The Patent Office issues certificates of well-known marks, which are published in the official Bulletin of the Patent Office.
