Year of Version 1997 Dates Entry into force: December 13, 1997 Adopted: November 21, 1997 Type of Text IP-related Laws Subject Matter Plant Variety Protection, Enforcement of IP and Related Laws, IP Regulatory Body Notes This Law provides for the protection of plant species and procedures for the protection of plant varieties.

Article 110 of this Law states that it shall enter into force on the eight day following its publication in the Official Gazette. The Law was published int he Official Gazette No. 131/97 on December 5, 1997, and entered into force on December 13, 1997.
