This consolidated text of the Federal Criminal Code incorporates all the amendments up to the 'Decree amending, adding and repealing the Federal Code of Criminal Procedure, Federal Criminal Code, Federal Law on Telecommunications, Law Establishing the Minimum Standards for Social Readaptation of Convicted Persons and General Law on the National Public Security Syste', which was published in the Official Journal of the Federation on April 17, 2012, and entered into force on April 18, 2012.
For the amendments introduced by the said Decree, see Book II, Title Six, Chapter I, Article 178 Bis (added) of the consolidated text.

Book Two of this consolidated text of the Federal Criminal Code provides for criminal sanctions against copyright infringement (Title Twenty-Six, Articles 424-429), and the disclosure of secrets of an industrial nature (Title Nine, Article 211).
