This consolidated version of the Criminal Law of the Republic of Croatia takes into account the Act on Amendments OG No. 111/2003 of July 15, 2003 to the Criminal Code.
It does not include the latest changes and amendments to the Criminal Code which were published in Official Gazette (OG) No. 105/2004, 84/2005 and 71/2006.

The Criminal Code contains specific provisions concerning copyrights and related rights (Arts. 223-224a, 229-231), patents (Art. 232), trademarks (Art. 278), industrial property rights and trade names (Art. 285), unfair competition (Art. 289) and trade secrets (Art. 295).

The notification by Croatia to the WTO under Article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'[The Code] regulates the field of criminal acts.'
