This consolidated version of the Patent Attorney Code incorporates all the amendments up to ‘Act of October 30, 2017, on the New Regulation of the Protection of Secrets in case of the Participation of Third Parties in the Exercise of Profession of Persons Subject to Duty of Secrecy’, which entered into force on November 9, 2017, on the day following its publication in the Federal Law Gazette, except for Article 4, point 1 and Article 5, point 4 in accordance with Article 11.
Article 5, points 1-3 and Article 5, point 4 of the said Act of October 30, 2017 (which entered into force on November 9, 2017 and July 1, 2018) introduces amendments to the following provisions of this consolidated version:
- In Part 3, Chapter 1, additions of sentences 4-7 to paragraph 2 of Section 39a, and a new Section 39c;
- In Part 4, Chapter 2, Sub-Chapter 1, additions of the second sentence to paragraph 2 of Section 58.
