WIPO’s One-Day IP Workshop for Startups to Launch at VivaTech 2025

As part of its ongoing commitment to support innovation-driven entrepreneurship, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is launching a One-Day IP Workshop for Startups, to be held during VivaTech 2025 in Paris.

This initiative offers 10 selected innovative startups the opportunity to participate in tailored, one-on-one IP strategy sessions with WIPO and IP experts, based on their own WIPO IP Diagnostics Report. 

What Startups Will Gain:

  • A 30–45-minute private session with a team of WIPO and IP specialists
  • Personalized insights based on each startup’s WIPO IP Diagnostics Report
  • Tools and strategies to develop an IP roadmap aligned with their business goals
  • Access to WIPO’s IP for Business tools and resources
  • WIPO will cover the VivaTech entrance fee 

Who Can Apply:

  • Startups with an innovative product/service
  • Willing to complete a short WIPO IP Diagnostics process
  • committed to integrating IP into their business strategy
  • With a confirmed representative in Paris during VivaTech 2025*

*This is an in-person workshop and selected participants are expected to be onsite during VivaTech in Paris.

How It Works:

Selected startups will:

1.    Attend a virtual onboarding session introducing WIPO IP Diagnostics
2.    Generate WIPO IP Diagnostics reports
3.    Receive a scheduled, in-person consultation with WIPO and IP experts at VivaTech
4.    Leave with practical advice and a tailored assessment to guide their IP journey

How to Apply:

Startups interested in participating must apply by May 23, 2025. Selection will be made on a first-come, first-served basis, with only 10 slots available.
