Paying Madrid System fees (USPTO)
From October 1, 2026, Madrid e-Filing becomes the default platform for US applicants filing new outbound international trademark applications based on US trademark applications or registrations. One important change: applicants must pay all WIPO fees directly to WIPO, in Swiss francs. Learn how to pay WIPO fees with confidence. WIPO experts and a USPTO guest speaker will walk you through your payment options — including the WIPO Wallet (formerly "Current Account at WIPO").
