Participation in the thirteenth session of the WIPO Intergovernmental Committee on Intellectual Property and Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Folklore is limited to representatives of WIPO Member States and of organizations who have received accreditation to participate as observers in WIPO meetings and/or in the Committee.

This form is intended only to facilitate the registration of government delegations, or representatives of already accredited observers. Completing this form does not imply any acceptance or endorsement of participation in the Committee, which is governed by the Rules of Procedure established by WIPO Member States. Completing this form does not create an expectation of financial or any other support for participation, and does not create a right or entitlement to attend or participate in the Committee.

If you are using this form to register a government delegate, please ensure that you have the formal authorization of your government before doing so. If you are using this form to register a representative of an observer that is accredited to the Committee, please ensure that you have the formal authorization of the organization concerned.

Representatives of organizations that are not already accredited observers should not use this form. A list of accredited observers is available [PDF]. If you represent an organization that is not accredited to WIPO or the IGC, and you wish to take part in IGC meetings, your organization would need first to apply for accreditation. Accreditation of observers is decided by WIPO Member States, not by the WIPO Secretariat. Details of the accreditation process are available at https://www.wipo.int/tk/en/igc/.
