Madrid Goods and Services Manager: New Participant – Egypt

Egypt is now participating in the Madrid Goods and Services Manager, bringing the number of intellectual property (IP) Offices of Madrid System Members that are contributing terms to this essential Madrid System tool to 41.
What does this mean for you?
You can now use the Goods and Services Manager – available under eMadrid – to check whether the Egyptian Trademarks and Industrial Designs Office will accept your list of goods and services before you submit your application for an international trademark registration.
How does it work?
It’s simple!
- Go to eMadrid and select ‘Compile and Verify Lists of Goods and Services’
- Select the language of your choice
- Search your target term to access a comprehensive list of all terms available and to build a list of goods and services that complies with all necessary requirements
- Use the ‘Check acceptance by designated Contracting Party’ feature to access a list of all contributing IP Offices to see whether a particular Madrid System Members will accept or reject a term.
Reminder! Arabic is one of the many languages covered by the Madrid Goods and Services Manager, so you can easily translate your list of goods and services!
