Developing the Madrid System and WIPO Online Services: Your Opinion Matters!

In 2020, two new online services were launched under the Madrid System. In its continued efforts to improve the services provided through the IP Portal, WIPO has launched a survey to hear directly from you.

Incorporating over 40 of WIPO’s online IP services, accessible through a single sign on with your WIPO Account, the IP Portal is the one-stop shop for managing your IP Portfolio.

Under its umbrella, we have grouped all of our online tools for trademark users, including the Global Brand database, the Madrid Member Profiles database or Madrid Monitor. Last year, we launched two new tools:

• The Madrid Application Assistant, to guide you in preparing international applications under the Madrid System and to generate high-quality application files.
• You can now submit a request for the recording of a limitation of goods and services online: this electronic version of the MM6 form can now be performed entirely online and follows a step-by-step process. Once completed, users are also able to pay their fees online.

We plan to harmonize your user experience and bring you more online transactions in the future to simplify your work. Your feedback would help us develop services with your needs and requirements in mind.

Who should take part?

The survey is designed for anyone who has used the WIPO IP Portal and WIPO’s online IP services over the last year. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a regular user or a first-time user – your opinion matters.

The survey is online and can be completed on any desktop or mobile device.

Any personal data you submit will be treated confidentially and securely according to the WIPO Personal Data and Privacy Policy.
