Webinar: Learn How to Use the Madrid Application Assistant Expertly
August 31, 2020
Last month, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) launched the Madrid Application Assistant, our latest tool that automatically records all the information required to complete an international application.
You can now register to our dedicated webinar to learn how to make the most of this new service.

In this free webinar, our WIPO experts will give you a step-by-step demo of the tool and will answer all of your questions.
Introduction to the Madrid Application Assistant
Wednesday, September 2nd
16:00 – 16:45 Geneva time
Why use the Madrid Application Assistant?
Information required for your international application can be imported directly from the Office of origin’s national/regional trademarks database. The application is then automatically pre-populated with the relevant information - from contact details to a full list of goods and services.
This not only saves time and effort, but also reduces the risk of irregularities, thus making the process of filing an international application more efficient and accurate.
WIPO recommends using the Madrid Application Assistant to complete international applications where online filing is not made available by the Office of origin.
Key Features
- Retrieve essential information concerning your basic mark directly from the database of your Office of origin.
- Fill in your application following our step by step process and ensure accuracy of the captured data
- Get your list of goods and services checked for classification thanks to the integration of the Madrid Goods & Services Manager and translated automatically
- Estimate the fees of your international application with the integrated fee calculator and print a summary for your records
