Now Available: The WIPO Academy’s 2023 Portfolio of Courses

The WIPO Academy has just published the 2023 edition of its Portfolio of Education, Training and Skills Development Programs. This year’s offerings focus on skills-building, with a particular emphasis on the private sector, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and the creative sector. The 2023 edition provides information on a wide collection of courses covering all areas of intellectual property (IP), from copyright, trademarks and patents to traditional knowledge and IP management.
The courses are offered in a variety of languages and in the following formats:
- Professional Development training courses for government officials and other public sector stakeholders;
- Basic to advanced Distance Learning (DL) and complementary blended learning certification courses;
- Joint Master’s degrees on IP with partner universities and colloquia for IP teachers and researchers;
- Summer Schools for young professionals and students; and
- Training courses organized by the WIPO IP Training Institutions around the world.
The Portfolio outlines the content of each course and provides information for potential participants on eligibility criteria, application formalities, timelines, selection procedures, and other relevant topics.
