調停
WIPOセンターでは、調停手続は費用効率の高いものであるべきだと考えます。
センターは、当事者や調停人と相談のうえで、WIPO手続で発生するすべての手数料が各紛争の事情に照らして適正なものになるよう図ります。

- 調停目的額は、請求されている金額の総額によって決定される。
- 調停申立書において金銭上の請求が何らなされていない場合や、紛争が金銭換算に適さない事柄に関わる場合、後日の精算を前提に、1,000ドルの実施手数料が支払われるものとする。その精算は、センターが当事者および調停人と協議した後に、その裁量により当該状況において適当であると決定した実施手数料を基準として行われるものとする。
- 調停人は、遂行した作業および調停に費やした時間についての詳細かつ正確な記録を保持するよう求められることとする。調停の終了後に、その記録の写しは、調停人による送り状を付して、当事者およびセンターに対して配布されなければならない。
- 当事者および調停人との協議の上で、センターは、1時間あたりまたは1日あたりの レート、紛争内容の複雑さ、調停人が費やした合計時間、調停人の尽力、および調停手続の迅速さといったその他の要因を考慮して、調停人に支払われる最終的な額を決定しなければならない。
- 手数料の計算においては、米ドル以外の通貨で表示された請求額は、支払い日における公式の国連為替レートに基づいて、米ドル表示に換算されるものとする。
- 一方または両当事者が、公表されているPCT出願（特許協力条約に基づく出願）の出願人または発明者である場合、ハーグ制度またはマドリッド制度に基づく国際登録の名義人である場合、あるいはWIPO GREENの技術提供者または技術希望者である場合、センターの実施手数料に25％の減額が適用される。
- センターは、WIPO調停規則の第４条(a)項に基づく調停の申立に関して支払われた実施手数料の全部または一部をもって、同一の紛争をめぐるWIPO調停に関してセンターに支払われるべき実施手数料を相殺することができる。WIPO調停規則の第４条(b)項に基づいて選任された外部中立者の手数料の額および通貨ならびにその支払の方法および時期については、外部中立者および当事者との協議の上、センターが定める。
